Borrell Associates projects local online ad revenues will crack the $2 billion mark this year, growing at a rate of 26.3%. Two-thirds of the cities in the U.S. (nearly 400) now generate over $1 million in annual local online revenue. The biggest spenders locally are in the computer sales & services, banking, hospitals and automotive categories.
